Dr. Kevin McCaffrey
DMDDr. Kevin McCaffrey received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine. He then went on to specialize exclusively in orthodontics by obtaining a master’s degree in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics, the highest degree available for orthodontists.
During dental school, due to his excellence in scholarship, exemplary traits of character and qualities for future professional growth he was selected to become a member of the prestigious dental fraternity, Omicron Kappa Upsilon. As part of his orthodontic residency, Dr. McCaffrey independently led research that supported the use of digital radiography and highlighted its lower radiation doses for use in clinical orthodontics.
He has obtained specialized training in a wide variety of orthodontic techniques including interceptive (Phase 1) and comprehensive treatment, multidisciplinary treatment (including surgical) and the Invisalign® system.
Dr. McCaffrey is a top 1% Invisalign provider worldwide (Diamond Provider). He has a special interest in helping those who desire a beautiful smile without the use of traditional braces. He has completed additional orthodontist-exclusive, Invisalign-specific training with the leading experts in Invisalign treatment.

In orthodontics, the highest honor that an orthodontist can achieve is board certification, which is a rigorous exam where several patients with initially difficult orthodontic treatment must be treated with exceptional outcomes and graded by other experienced and Board Certified orthodontists. Dr. McCaffrey passed the American Board of Orthodontics examinations on the first attempt and is now a Board Certified orthodontist.
Dr. McCaffrey recognizes the value of patient-centered treatment and the significant impact that a smile can have on a patient’s life. “It brings my heart joy to see the smile on a child’s face when their treatment is complete, and their confidence is sky high. That’s why I do this.”
Dr. McCaffrey is an active member in the American Dental Association®, Florida Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists®, Southern Association of Orthodontists and Florida Association of Orthodontists. He has served as a board member of the Broward County Dental Association and was President of the Fort Lauderdale Dental Study Club. He is also dedicated to staying current with his orthodontic and dental knowledge and is involved in several local study clubs.
Dr. McCaffrey is passionate about helping those in need and has donated his time on mission trips in Jamaica and Haiti. He is involved with Give Kids a Smile and Relay for Life. He is committed to providing the best possible orthodontic experience to the residents of Wellington, West Palm Beach, Greenacres and the surrounding communities.
In his free time, Dr. McCaffrey enjoys spending time with his wife, Stacey, their daughter, Reagan, their sons, Kent and Killian, and their Yorkies, Roxy and Reilly. They enjoy visiting the beach, working out, traveling and being involved with their church.
